Lung Disease Signs

One sign that indicates possible lung disease can be simple as a cough. Mostly, detecting signs early could very well prevent the disease or ailment from worsening. Here are the commonly known signs and symptoms that an individual might be having a lung disease:

Hard cough

• Dyspnea- is a shortness of breath that is sometimes a result with respiratory system problems, heart disease, anxiety or other condition.
• Chest pain – a problem in the lungs, pleura, or muscles and bones of the chest wall is generally indicated.
• Hemoptysis – means coughing up blood. This may manifest as pinkish froth, mucus with a bloody streak or clot, or pure blood.
• Cyanosis – this occurs when the skin becomes bluish in colour especially around lips. This is a result of acute lung disease or when it progressively worsens.
• Swelling – this is typically associated with heart disease since both organs are affected by similar symptoms.
